Driver Qualifications

An applicant is hired only after successfully completing the following:

1. Road Test
2. DOT Physical  
3. Drug Screen  
4. Orientation  
5. Clearinghouse

Requirements:

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Applicants must currently hold a valid Class A CDL License in their home domicile state.
• Applicants must be 23 years of age at the time of application.
• Applicants must have at least 24 months of verified Tractor Trailer experience.

Disqualifiers:

• No more than 3 non-DOT preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• No more than 3 minor moving violations in the last 36 months.
• No failed drug or alcohol test.
• Previous revocations and/or suspensions will be reviewed on an individual basis by the executive management team at J. Boren & Sons Trucking.

Background Checks:

• Any convicted felonies, misdemeanors and additional criminal records will be reviewed on an individual basis by the executive management team at J. Boren & Sons Trucking for an adjudication evaluation. J. Boren & Sons Trucking is committed to providing second chances for qualified candidates.
• No involvement in any theft of equipment or cargo regardless of time span.
